My mom wrote a post in honor of her mom after she passed, which you can read if you click on the link above "Memorial to My Mom's Mom." I am so thankful for the love of animals that her mom and her entire family shared. 

Her mom had a pet cow that she loved beyond words when she was growing up. My mom loved caring for calves in her younger days at one of her first jobs in Nebraska. They shared many memories together and my mom said that if she ever moved back to Nebraska, she would get a calf just like her mom and to honor her memory.

And here I am! I feel like the luckiest calf ever to move to the state where my mom grew up and to be so close to her family. I get to see them all the time! It is great to have more people and other animals to lick & love on.
